Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using KoneKita, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use KoneKita for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to represent that organization.

2. What KoneKita provides

KoneKita helps community members connect with local jobs, employers, businesses, products, and service providers. Features may include profiles, announcements, listings, search, messaging, job applications, interviews, bookings, orders, transaction updates, notifications, and reviews.

KoneKita provides a platform for connection and coordination. Unless expressly stated otherwise, KoneKita is not the employer, seller, buyer, contractor, or service provider in arrangements made between users.

3. Accounts and eligibility

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration and profile information.
• Use the account type that accurately reflects your role and authority.
• Keep your login credentials secure and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
• Do not impersonate another person or organization or create accounts using information you do not own.
• Minors may use KoneKita only with parent or guardian consent or supervision where required by law and applicable program rules.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

4. Listings, applications, orders, and bookings

• Employers are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and fairness of job posts and hiring decisions.
• Businesses and service providers are responsible for their listings, pricing, availability, stock, schedules, fulfillment, qualifications, permits, and customer commitments.
• Applicants and customers are responsible for information they submit and for reviewing terms before accepting an employment, purchase, or service arrangement.
• Users involved in a transaction are responsible for payments, delivery, performance, cancellations, refunds, warranties, taxes, and disputes unless KoneKita expressly provides a separate written policy.

KoneKita does not guarantee employment, applicants, sales, bookings, availability, product quality, service quality, payment, delivery, or the completion of any arrangement.

5. User content

You retain responsibility for content you submit, including profiles, listings, photos, messages, reviews, and documents. You grant KoneKita a non-exclusive permission to host, store, reproduce, display, and process that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

You must have the necessary rights and permissions for all content you upload. Do not post confidential or sensitive information unless it is necessary for a feature and you are authorized to share it.

6. Prohibited conduct

You may not use KoneKita to:

• Break the law, facilitate fraud, or offer illegal or unsafe products or services.
• Harass, threaten, discriminate against, exploit, or deceive another person.
• Publish false, misleading, infringing, defamatory, or malicious content.
• Spam users, scrape data, bypass access controls, or interfere with platform security or availability.
• Upload malware or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
• Misuse personal information obtained through the platform.

7. Moderation and account action

KoneKita may review reports and remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, or terminate access when we reasonably believe these terms, community safety, or applicable law has been violated. We may preserve relevant records when required for security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

8. Third-party services

KoneKita relies on third-party services such as Google Firebase, Google Sign-In, hosting, storage, and notification providers. Their own terms and privacy policies may also apply. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

9. Service availability and disclaimers

We work to keep KoneKita useful and secure, but the service is provided on an “as available” basis. Features may change, experience delays, or become temporarily unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, we do not make warranties regarding uninterrupted access, error-free operation, user conduct, or transaction outcomes.

10. Limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, KoneKita and its administrators will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from user conduct, third-party services, or arrangements made between users. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how KoneKita collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information and is incorporated into these terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Users should first contact KoneKita so concerns can be reviewed informally. Any unresolved dispute will be handled by the appropriate authorities or courts with jurisdiction under Philippine law.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
